    Political Cartoons by Pete Wagner
Alternative to the usual mainstream corporate commercial daily and weekly papers. The artist draws in a style that is somewhat like that of the big daily artists, but with a lot more bite. Wagner has been described as too in-your-face by Chicago newspaper editors, and Abbie Hoffman once said he manages to reach to the limits of bad taste. Wagner is a regional political activist whose work has been published regularly for a few years here and a few years there in various alternative and student papers. Although he has also had a few appear in Time magazine, the Washington Post, Milwaukee Journal, Minneapolis Star-Tribune, etc., he is basically too hot for these kinds of papers to handle.
