‚dach111' is a rooflandscape already existing for several years in the east of kassel. Now it's being further designed and worked out for the time of documenta 11. at the periphery of the official event there is being created a place and a scene of action offering possibilities to relax, to communicate and to take action. The municipal area being situated somewhere between residential area and industrial estate opens a scope for development and realization of unconventional ideas. 'dach111' is an expermintal stage. There are several installations: four beds and two temporary exsperimental accommodations offer a rain-proof place to stay for the night. A bar, places to sit and relax, visual installations and piped music create a meeting place for project participants, friends and visitors. A projection surface and a stage-like platform offer possibilities for various cultural events. The objective of the project isn't defined in a narrow sense but a process of development. The place, its infrastructure and atmosphere open chances of being creative and to act according to one's motivation.
