Wikipedia
Drinking is the act of consuming a liquid through the mouth. Water is required for many of the body's physiological processes, and excess or decreased water intake is associated with health problems. "Drinking" may refer specifically to alcoholism depending on the context in which the term is used.
Physiology - A daily intake of 1-2 liters of water is required for the normal physiological functioning of the body, depending on the ambient weather conditions. The absolute minimum over the long term is about 1.6 liters (600 ml for urine, 200 ml for fecal losses, and 800 ml for losses via the skin and lungs). This includes water contained in food (i.e. it is not necessary to drink 1-2 liters of water a day). The sensation caused by dehydration of the body is called "thirst". The sensation of thirst is a dry feeling in the back of the throat and an intense desire to drink fluids. Thirst is regulated by the hypothalamus in response to subtle changes in the body's electrolyte levels, and also as a result of changes in the volume of blood circulating.

The first wishing well on planet...
Wishing well (well of wishing) is a term to describe special place where any wish would be sent and placed. It came from the idea that water contained deities or had been placed there as a gift from the gods, since water was a source of life and oftentimes a scarce commodity. Water was seen to have healing powers and therefore wells became popular with many people drinking, bathing or just simply wishing over it. We all believe that our guardian or dweller of this First Wishing Well only would receive and accept every wish on Earth. After uttering the wish, one would generally drop coins in the well. Coins would be placed there as gifts for the deity in thanks.
