People can lend emotional help in times of depression, educational help in times of ignorance, and physical help to those in need. The elderly and young are the most frequent recipients of help, because they are often most in need.The Good Samaritan comes from a parable in the Bible, told by Jesus to illustrate the precepts that a person's fitness for eternal life is defined by his or her actions. Many believe that helping others is the surest way towards happiness.Help is often associated with SOS, the international Morse code distress signal.
